At the Laurel Shop
Sunday November 5th // 1:00-3:00 PM
Fall is in the air! Celebrate the autumnal season by decorating your front door or mantel with a handmade wreath. You’ll learn the basics of wreath-making, working with fall foliage, branches, and textural elements to create a lush, seasonal design. The class fee includes all materials and will be taught by Oakland-based florist Heather Lee of Hello Flowers; each student will create and take home their own finished wreath.
Heather Lee is a writer, editor, and florist based in Oakland, Calif. She is the proprietor of Hello Flowers, a tiny flower shop located in the backyard of Homestead Apothecary in Oakland’s Laurel District (open Saturdays and Sundays year-round).
