Cough “Syrup”

A blend of organic Fennel, Cinnamon, Licorice, Wild Cherry bark, Ginger, Orange peel, Marshmallow, Yerba Santa, and Horehound to soothe symptoms of a sore throat, ease coughing, and provide an extra boost of immunity.

This tea blend can be easily made into a delicious cough syrup by following the recipe below.

1. Put 2 ounces of herb blend in a medium saucepan with 4 cups of water.
2. Simmer uncovered until the liquid reduces by half (typically 15-30 minutes)
3. Strain out the herbs and while still warm, stir in one cup of sweetener of choice such as honey, molasses, or maple syrup.
4. Store covered in the fridge for 2 weeks, taking 1-2 tablespoons when needed.

Optional: add 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar for added health benefits.

To increase shelf stability add a splash of apple cider vinegar, vodka or brandy.
